このプロジェクトは、主にサンボープレイクック遺跡周辺のゴミ問題にフォーカスしています。遺跡の周りには多くのゴミがあります。ほとんどのゴミは観光客ではなく、現地の村びとが出したものです。なぜなら、現地の方はゴミをゴミ箱に捨てるやゴミを分別するという習慣がないからです。言い換えれば、彼らにとってはゴミが散らかっているのは当たり前なのです。しかし、観光地化が進められている村にとっては、ゴミ問題は大きな問題のうちの一つであり、解決しなければなりません。したがって、僕たちがこのプロジェクトをする目的は、遺跡周辺に住む子供たちにゴミをゴミ箱に捨てる習慣をつけてもらうということです。主な活動はゴミに関するクイズやワークショップの実施、S.P.K.遺跡周辺でのゴミ拾いなどです。これらの活動を通して、子どもたちは楽しみながら、ゴミについての知識を得て、ゴミ問題に意識を向けることができます。

This project is mainly focused on the garbage problem in villages around S.P.K. temples (Sambor Prei Kuk temples). We can see a lot of garbage around S.P.K. temples right now. Almost all garbage was thrown away by not tourists but villagers because local people do not have habit to throw away garbage to a trash box and separate and sort garbage into burnable and nonburnable. In other words, it is common for villagers to litter on the ground. But garbage problem is one of the biggest problems for the villages which try to promote the tourism. Thus purpose of this project is to let children around S.P.K. temples make habit of putting garbage in a trash box. In this project, we conduct various activities, such as quiz game about separating garbage, workshop about garbage problem and picking up garbage around S.P.K. temples. children could study about garbage problem with having fun and pay attention to the garbage problem thorough our activities.
