交流会は、渡航中で最初のプロジェクトです。このプロジェクトでは、ASCAとスマイの子供たちと自己紹介やゲームをします。このプロジェクトの主な目的は、２つあります。一つ目は、Ju-Juのメンバーと子供たち、双方の緊張を和らげて、後の活動をより円滑に進めやすくするということです。Ju-Juの活動は現地の子ども達と一緒にするのが主です。したがって、彼らと親密な関係を作ることは、プロジェクトの成功の要です。

二つ目に、異文化交流を通して、お互いの理解を深めるということです。2015年夏渡航では、折り紙や押し相撲などの日本の伝統文化を紹介し、一緒に遊びました。一方で、子ども達からカンボジアの伝統的な食べ物の一つであるバンブーケーキを紹介してもらい、一緒に作り、食べました。このように、お互いの文化を知り、尊重することで、僕たちは確かな信頼関係を得ることができます。

また、Ju-Juのメンバーと現地の子ども達はプロジェクトのためだけの関係ではありません。交流会を通して仲良くなった子ども達とJu-Juのメンバーは、今でもSNSなどで連絡を取り合い、大切な友達になりました。

 

Hello Party with ASCA and Smey

 

Hello Party is the first project which we have with children from ASCA and Smey. We and children introduce themselves each other, and play games in this project. It has two purposes. First one is to relieve the tension between us and children, and it makes projects more smoothly because we work closely with them with other activities. Therefore, building a good relationship with them is very important to success projects.

            Another purpose is that we and children from ASCA and Smey can understand each other deeply through cross-cultural contact. In the summer of 2015, we introduced children to our own culture, such as origami and mini-sumo, and played together. On the other hand, they introduced us to one of the traditional foods in Cambodia, Bamboo Cake, made it and ate together. So to understand and respect each other’s cultures can make a good relationship.

            This relationship is not just for our projects. We and children from ASCA and Smey can get in touch with each other through Social Network Service, such as Facebook, so we could made precious friends.
